Who and Why?

If I say, “I will not mention him,
or speak any more in his name,”
there is in my heart as it were a burning fire
shut up in my bones,
and I am weary with holding it in,
and I cannot.

-Grew up a pseudo-religious, pseudo- “good kid.”Now following Jesus for real, with my mess.

-Graduated an English major with no ambition. Now a seminary student with much ambition, just unsure of the direction.

Trying to be real. Striving for passion. Getting schooled by grace. Keeping realizing “there’s gotta be more” than what we see and what we have.
